Hi, I’m Lauren.

When I’m not photographing squishy newborns you’ll find me with my family; mainly being a crazy mama to my two little people and our pooch.

I started taking a real interest in photography when we had our first baby, she became my subject and I couldn’t help but take photo after photo of her. It’s kind of a different story now though as at 2 years old she’s always telling me ‘no photo’s mummy!’. Luckily we have our second baby now and he’s too young to tell me no so I’m in luck… for a short while at least.

I’ve started to notice that my approach to photography differs from a lot that I see, in both the style of photos and the pricing elements. I like to think that my style is creative while still remaining relaxed when doing my best to capture those tiny brand new details so that they can be treasured forever, what an honour that is to be the one capturing them.

I feel pretty lucky to have found a hobby that has become a ‘job’ for me, it means I get to do what I love while being able to spend more time with the ones I love. I’ve tried to model my business plan on what I’d consider the ideal option when booking a photographer; a simple price and a clear detail on what’s included. I’ve learnt that I’m really not into keeping photos I’ve taken but aren’t treasured so what you’ll find from me is that you’re provided with all edited images because to me their yours, I’ve spent the time editing them and it’s sad to think of them not being treasured.
